Mindfulness Meditation Retreat
19th to 21st April, BMC-Rumtek, Sikkim
The restless striving in our heart, the nervous energy flowing in our veins and the disoriented mind makes it almost impossible for us to experience inner peace and contentment. In such a state of consciousness we tend to make wrong choices that are detrimental to our success and happiness. Somehow the life goes on without proper nourishment and we suffer the anguish of monotony even though drowned in so many diversions and stimulants.
To alleviate suffering in our body and mind and to experience calmness and rhythm in our thinking, in our abiding, in our brain, in our nervous system, in our relationships, in our ambitions and also in our physical organism we urge you to take some time out and join us for a Mindfulness Meditation and Healing Retreat at one of the most enthralling and mystical Retreat centre tucked in a valley in East Sikkim near Rumtek Monastery.
There will be daily Yoga sessions, where there will be ample opportunity for each individual to connect to their body and breath and gradually move the mind within the body and unite with the breath. The sequence and the approach to Yogasana will be of developing an intimate and all-embracing practice rather than going through a series in a mechanical or workout mode. The natural silence, the carefree yet careful attitude and the healing energy of the retreat will be the real healer and also your teacher, helping you understand the nuances of Yoga Nidra and initiate the devout aspirant into the effortless practice of the same and open up new vistas and dimensions within one’s own consciousness.
The whole Retreat experience is a seamless whole and even when you lie down to rest and unwind in the privacy of your own room, the chasm of your aspiration, the stillness of your soul, the hidden mysticism of the wild, the ceaseless chain of thoughts and emotions and your throbbing bosom will all transport you into a Yogic trance. You may end up pondering about existence and reality and knock on the doors of insight and meditation. Mind Training and Dhyana Sadhana will begin with formal sessions in the meditation hall and more significantly the training has to go on informally as well, moment by moment - while walking, idling, resting …
