Mystic Yoga Retreat goes to Tinchuley over a weekend this winter to be enthralled and rejoice in the glory of Yogasana and Raja-yoga meditation in the rarefied mountain air. We travel by overnight train both ways, departing from Kolkata on a Thursday night at 10 pm and returning Monday morning 6 am.
Friday and Saturday night we halt and rest at Gurung Guest House (twin sharing accommodation), a home stay at Tinchuley, exploring the nearby orchards and hiking in the rural setting. Local vegetarian cuisine is a treat with local butter, honey and tea freely flowing.
Sunday forenoon and afternoon will be spent at Darjeeling; shopping for souvenirs and indulging in the local eateries for tea and confectionery. It still retains its old world heritage and charm. Join us for this weekend retreat to retire and refresh.
