Blood is the carrier of Oxygen and nutrition in human body, prerequisites for us to survive. Heart pumps the carbon dioxide laden blood to the lungs and passes the oxygen rich blood from the lungs to the arteries. Arteries are part of a system called blood vessels – tube shaped structures that are semi-elastic in nature that help carry blood throughout the body. Our bodies are made up of a network of blood vessels: arteries, veins and capillaries, over 95000 kms long.
Make most of your yoga session
To make a session of Yoga practice most effective, it is required that we make it as comprehensive as possible. This is different from the amount of time we invest in Yoga practice every day. One can dedicate an hour, 90 mins or on some busy days we may just be able to practice 30 mins; however, the completeness of the session depends on how our bodies have been used during the practice - strength, flexibility, balance and cardiovascular training etc, all aspects necessary for healthy body must be put to work.

Yoga Sutra
The legend of Yoga predates to the beginning of time and creation, and to translate this legend into a credible storehouse of knowledge we have the magical Yoga Sutra, a handbook on the practice, steps, and efficacy of Yoga. To put this succinctly Sage Patanjali is credited with the compilation and authorship of Yoga Sutra some 2500 odd years ago.
Meditative Invocation
Sankalp 2021
Sankalp is a personal vow - a firm resolve to achieve something or to follow a specific path. An understanding of the motivation behind your "Sankalp" is necessary. If your resolution is only dealing with cosmetic changes in your life, it may not uphold the work, time, and energy needed to accomplish the same. However, if a Sankalp's inspiration is rooted in a yearning to change your life for the better, then all the grind needed to see through your resolution seems worth it.
